A&M's Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice focuses on serving middle market and large cap private equity firms with operational and strategic improvement at their portfolio companies.

As Director, Commercial Due Diligence within the PEPI practice, you will be the primary engagement owner, leading commercial due diligence (CDD) assignments end-to-end for PE clients.

Key responsibilities include:

- Engagement Leadership:
Own the full CDD process from kickoff through final investment committee read-out, managing clients day-to-day.

- Diligence Scoping:
Frame diligence scope, hypotheses, and priority risks tailored to each transaction.

- PE Client Interaction:
Lead day-to-day interaction with PE deal teams, serving as the primary A&M point of contact.

- Team Management:
Orchestrate Managers and work streams into a cohesive investment thesis and storyline.

- Judgment & Quality:
Make calls on trade-offs between depth and speed, ensuring outputs are investment-committee ready.

- Coaching:

Develop and mentor Managers on judgment, synthesis, and client leadership.
