Atlantic Group is hiring a Corporate Travel Manager in New York, NY (Hybrid) to lead a global travel and expense program for our client. This strategic role oversees corporate travel operations, private aviation management, vendor negotiations, and policy enforcement. Ideal candidates bring expertise in T&E systems, cost-control strategies, and cross-functional collaboration with legal, HR, compliance, and finance teams.
Responsibilities as the Corporate Travel Manager:
- Program Strategy:
Develop and enforce travel and expense policies aligned with corporate objectives and compliance standards. - Vendor Management:
Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for airlines, hotels, private aircraft, and car rentals. - Private Aviation Oversight:
Manage the corporate aircraft program, including scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination. - Executive Partnership:
Collaborate with senior leadership to optimize travel strategies and deliver cost-saving insights. - Data & Reporting:
Analyze travel data to identify trends and savings, preparing reports for executive review. - Global Compliance & Training:
Ensure global policy alignment, support employee training, and implement travel management technology.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required. - Experience:
10+ years in corporate travel management with expertise in vendor negotiations, policy development, and private travel programs, preferably within financial services. - Technical
Skills:
Proficient in Concur or similar travel management platforms, with strong Excel skills preferred. - Skills & Attributes:
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with demonstrated expertise in organization, project management, and stakeholder engagement. - Industry Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of global travel regulations, industry best practices, and vendor management strategies.
