Overview

Mpower Solar is the largest solar installer based in NYC, known for leading the industry in sales, design, installation, and maintenance. We help homeowners lower their carbon footprint while maximizing energy savings through high-quality, dependable solar solutions.

We are now looking for a warehouse manager who oversees daily operations, ensuring safety, organization, and efficiency. Someone who can manage inventory, coordinate materials for projects, handle procurement, track all incoming and outgoing items, and maintain accurate records while keeping the warehouse clean and well‑organized.

Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, organizing, and storing solar and electrical equipment in the warehouse.
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Implement process improvements to increase warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Oversee demand planning and maintain optimal inventory levels to support installation and service operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and internal databases.
  • Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) for solar installations, electrical work, and O&M crews, and prepare materials ahead of scheduled projects.
  • Procure, receive, stock, and properly track all materials entering and leaving the warehouse, including associating materials with specific customer jobs.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization while ensuring materials are used properly and not wasted by field crews.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of solar warehouse management experience supporting solar installations
  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills with the ability to accurately track solar and electrical materials
  • Experience using warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software
  • Knowledge of solar installation materials and the ability to create and coordinate materials and BOMs for installation, electrical, and service crews
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse operation
Compensation
  • Base of $75,000
