Logistics Project Manager – Global Sustainment (GS)

Selected candidate will serve as the Logistics Project Manager for the Global Sustainment organization within the Radars, Electronic Warfare & Acoustic Systems market segment. They will direct a GS team that includes Program Integration, Center of Excellence and subcontractor personnel. The LPM will work closely with the Program Management Office, finance, planning, sourcing (subcontracts management) and engineering personnel as part of a cross‑functional program team and will ensure sustainment products and services are developed and delivered per contract cost, schedule, and technical requirements.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing Rough Order of Magnitude budgetary estimates, formal Basis of Estimates, and related Subcontractor Statements of Work for new and continuing efforts.
  • Assist in the planning, development and implementation of Integrated Master Schedules and baseline execution plans.
  • Liaise with GS Center of Excellence functional leads and subcontractors, and assist in the collection, evaluation and integration of ILS project/product execution status.
  • Assist in the identification, collection and evaluation of engineering, program and vendor source data necessary to support ILS product development, including coordination efforts to address shortfalls.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of Contract Data Requirements List and other ILS deliveries and services.
  • Monitor adherence to GS and program processes and procedures for product development and services.
  • Collect metrics and prepare progress reports, briefings and inputs to formal reviews regarding GS efforts.
  • Perform the functions of a Control Account Manager for Earned Value Management.
  • Liaise with external customer and LM program management.
  • Support the Multi‑Mission Air Defense submarket segment.
Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal direction in meeting program objectives.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project).
  • Strong project coordination and time management skills.
  • Experience or knowledge in one or more of the following ILS/Sustainment domains: ILS product development, ILS requirements analysis and definition, ILS product interdependencies, ILS‑related tools and technologies, Sustainment Services (maintenance & modernization, depot operations, performance‑based logistics, obsolescence management).
  • Customer interface experience.
  • Willingness and ability for infrequent domestic and international travel.
Desired Skills
  • Previous experience participating on an Integrated Product Team or other cross‑functional team.
  • Previous experience working in a Global Sustainment Center of Excellence or Program Integration team.
  • Previous experience managing a project (cost, schedule & performance).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certified Cost Account Manager or equivalent experience in Earned Value Management.
  • Experience developing, reviewing or evaluating cost proposals, Basis of Estimates and/or Statements of Work.
  • Logistics experience.
  • Team building and conflict resolution.
  • Scheduling and resource planning.
  • Earned Value Management & Cost Account Management experience.
  • Risk management.
  • Knowledgeable with export control process and guidelines.
  • Proposal cost estimating and technical volume authoring.
  • Experience with repair depot.
  • Experience with obsolescence.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance. Candidates must be US citizens. Clearance level:
Secret.

Work Schedule

Schedule:

4×10‑hour days, three days off per week. Part‑time remote telework is available; the employee will work part of their schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual base salary range (excluding major metropolitan areas) is $104,500 – $184,115. The role is incentive‑plan eligible.
