Job Summary
The Assistant, Audio Investor role is to gain an understanding of the audio landscape and negotiation process that will ultimately lead to advancement to Audio Investor in either local or national audio. This includes marketplace trends and a holistic top‑line view of all audio platforms including AM/FM radio, digital audio, satellite, podcasting & HD Radio.
Responsibilities- Administration – 70%: ordering & confirming orders, handling makegoods, monitoring placement of scheduled spots, maintaining added value and billing reconciliation; review & understand buying guideline (goals & objectives) with Investor; maintain accurate buy files with financial information to align with buying system; assume buying responsibilities from pre‑buy to post‑buy in small markets/on accounts.
- Client Management – 10%: implement work‑related goals established by investor/brand team on behalf of clients.
- Networking – 10%: establish & maintain business relationship with vendor partners.
- Training & Development – 10%: learn & understand media terminology.
Interested in the Audio landscape with a desire to innovate and keep up with trends. Hungry to learn more and further your knowledge of the media landscape. A left and right brain thinker – a data‑powered strategist. Comfortable working within large sets of data and numbers. A problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions. Results oriented; consistently motivated, proactive, and resourceful.
A strong, effective communicator. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. An effective time manager, comfortable working with multiple timelines and deliverables. Flexible in working both independently and with a team, willing to roll up your sleeves. An individual who takes pride in ownership of work and demonstrates accountability. Able to thrive in an agile, fast‑paced environment and seek out feedback proactively.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work or internship experience.
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, ability to multi‑task, good communication skills, ability to recognize problems & identify solutions, willingness to learn & grow.

CompensationSalary Range $40,000.00 - $50,000.00. A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
