As the Project Manager – Low Voltage

You’ll lead dynamic groups of field superintendents, foremen, installers, tradespeople, and administrative staff in delivering high-impact commercial projects—focusing on seamless execution, top-tier quality, budget control, and client satisfaction. This is a high-visibility leadership role where you blend strategic planning, team mentoring, direct field involvement, and proactive problem-solving, ensuring projects launch on time, under budget, and exceed expectations in our explosive New York growth market.

Perfect for a proven leader who thrives on mentoring talent, tackling complex site challenges, and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced, expansion-mode environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Portfolio Oversight:
Own day-to-day operations and full lifecycle delivery for multiple low-voltage projects (control wiring, BMS integrations, data center builds). Plan, schedule, coordinate phases, track progress, and ensure alignment with timelines, budgets, quality standards, and client requirements.
  • Technical & Quality Execution:
Drive rigorous QA/QC on low-voltage control wiring and installations. Oversee materials procurement, deliveries, expediting, labor/equipment allocation, and real-time issue resolution with forward-thinking solutions to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

  • Stakeholder &

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Serve as the primary client-facing leader—building and maintaining strong relationships with GC/CMs, owners, reps, vendors, and internal teams (HR, Payroll, Housing, Safety). Gather requirements, manage expectations, provide transparent updates, resolve roadblocks, and attend key meetings such as monthly Project Status Reviews.
  • Risk & Safety Leadership:
Identify risks, maintain active risk registers, and execute mitigation plans. Champion all safety initiatives, uphold compliance, and actively contribute to an Incident and Injury Free Workplace (IIFW) through training, audits, and proactive culture-building.
  • Ad Hoc Leadership:
Jump into emerging priorities—whether supporting rapid Texas expansion, coordinating temporary relocations, optimizing crew logistics, or leading team efforts to maintain our strong, accountable culture.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and manage multiple crews—including superintendents, foremen, installers, and admin support—across concurrent projects. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career guidance to build ownership, skill, and a “hungry” execution mindset while fostering strong morale and developing future leaders in the field.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience: 3–8+ years in project management for low-voltage electrical/control wiring projects, with strong hands‑on experience on large-scale data center or commercial installations (data center background highly preferred). Prior Project Manager role is a major plus; supervisory/leadership experience managing field teams required.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in reading/interpreting technical drawings, specs, and plans.
    • Solid project management toolkit: scheduling, risk management, resource allocation, financial tracking, change orders, and earned value analysis.
    • Strong analytical/problem-solving with ability to manage multiple projects/teams and anticipate needs.
    • Excellent communication and client-facing presence—confident, clear, and influential across diverse stakeholders.
  • Personal Traits: Energetic, proactive, and “hungry” for impact. You’re a natural leader who leads by example, thrives in fast‑paced/high‑ambiguity environments, adapts quickly, maintain high standards, and galvanizes crews while keeping everyone motivated and safe. Safety‑first mindset with knowledge of site regulations.
