Supervisor of Special Education

Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a Supervisor of Special Education working District Wide effective approximately August 17, 2026.

Performance Responsibilities:

Serve as a Chairperson of the CSE and CPSE as applicable
Maintain knowledge of current Federal and State laws, regulations, and mandates regarding special education
Provide information to the Director and/or Assistant Superintendent to ensure District compliance with the required NYS reporting systems for special education, including but not limited to STAC, IHO, Medicaid, and ESY.
Insure conformance and integrity of District IEPs with federal and state timelines, quality, and procedural requirements
Work with members of the CSE, CPSE and Subcommittees of the CSE regarding collaboration, process, and practices.
Work with all parties to resolve special education issues and disputes.
Adhere to Board policies and District Code of Conduct
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education and/or the Assistant Superintendent for Pupil Personnel Services
