• Drive sales in the Vision Center through effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and maintaining in‑stock inventory levels.
• Budget and forecast sales while assessing economic trends and community needs.
• Model and enforce proper Customer‑Member service approaches, resolving complaints and issues within company guidelines.
• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as community members.
• Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, analyze reports, monitor asset protection and safety controls, and perform quality assurance reviews.
• Develop action plans to improve performance and guide associates in accessing and maintaining confidentiality of information.
• Supervise and provide development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition.
• Consult and educate members on eyewear, selecting products, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, and performing minor frame repair.
• Implement the Company’s Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, and providing resolution.

• Analyze and interpret sales reports and community needs to drive business decisions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper merchandising standards.
• Guide associates through safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews.
• Participate in implementation of company programs and strategic initiatives.
• Encourage continuous learning and skill development among associates.

• Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

• Experience supervising associates.
