ABOUT THE COMPANY

  • This role would be operating on a hybrid basis in Midtown Manhattan and reporting into the accounting manager
  • There is a really fresh perspective that’s been brought to the firm over the past few years!

Lead global Accounts Payable operations, ensuring efficient invoice processing, compliance, and attorney/staff support. Manage team performance, optimize workflows, and enhance automation.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee full-cycle AP, including vendor management, expense reimbursements, credit card transactions, and general ledger postings.
  • Supervise and mentor the AP team, fostering efficiency and accuracy.
  • Drive process improvements, leveraging automation and technology.
  • Manage credit card processing, vendor reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • Establish KPIs to enhance performance and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including 1099 preparation and sales/use tax reporting.
  • Lead AP initiatives in system implementations and process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Expertise in accounting principles, AP software, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage high-volume workflows and communicate effectively.
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Accounting, or Finance (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of AP experience in a corporate or professional services setting, including team management.
