For our client, we are seeking a VP Finance US And Canada to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space. This role will support financial discipline around P&L visibility, margin improvement, and business performance. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a consumer-facing environment.
Location:
New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $325,000 – $375,000 annually
Responsibilities- Lead comprehensive CFO responsibilities including accounting, financial reporting, and strategic financial management
- Partner with leadership to shape commercial strategy and drive financial growth through planning
- Jointly manage P&L performance, translating strategy into financial outcomes and optimizing opportunities
- Direct annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance management aligned with strategic priorities
- Oversee compliance with accounting standards, governance, and internal controls
- Drive cost optimization and operational efficiencies across the regions
- Provide data-driven performance analysis and narratives to stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA or professional accounting qualification preferred
- 12-15 years of progressive finance, accounting, or business leadership experience, including significant multinational experience
- Minimum 5 years in senior management or director role with P&L responsibility and executive stakeholder engagement
- Proven leadership in P&L management, budgeting, and commercial finance
- Strong grasp of financial drivers, contract management, and retail landscape dynamics
- Track record of achieving cost efficiencies and implementing governance best practices
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to lead diverse teams effectively
