Senior Vice President – Corporate Affairs

As a Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs at Zeno, you will support existing clients and lead efforts in new business opportunities. You will be engaged in a broad range of client programs including reputation management, executive leadership, internal communications, and financial PR.

• Develop media relations strategy and conduct outreach for programs and projects.
• Create strategic, visionary plans for clients and communicate them compellingly with supporting recommendations and substantive logic.
• Drive learning and ongoing education with the direct team and across the agency through trend watching and general knowledge management.
• Effectively manage staff utilization to meet profitability targets.
• Foster and maintain relationships with client contacts and internal agency partners.
• Grow business prospects with existing clients; expand scope of work using network capabilities.
• Lead new business outreach processes and win new business.
• Maintain financial responsibility for accounts including forecasting and account profitability.
• Mentor, coach and support team members, ensuring constant development of their skills.
• Provide strategic counsel, guidance and leadership, supervising several staff members and ensuring the team's success by managing work quality and productivity levels.
• Secure, maintain and grow the business.
• Understand key client industry issues relating to products, product categories, technologies, primary and potential competition and general issues facing the industry.

• 15+ years of experience in Corporate PR in an agency or similar environment.
• A history of success in providing sound creative and strategic counsel to clients and building credibility with senior level client contacts.
• Collaborative spirit, results driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work against deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, creatively and holistically about client programs.
• Excellent writing skills, solid presentation skills, and experience developing and delivering client presentations, including new business.
• In-depth knowledge of reputation management and a working knowledge of traditional and non-traditional media.
• Track record of success in building relationships with national business media and driving results for clients.
• Strong background in corporate communications and solid corporate media relations contacts.
• Proven leadership experience, mentoring and developing junior talent.

Pay range: $150,000–$200,000 USD per year. Compensation also includes annual bonuses, paid time off, and region-specific benefits as part of DJEH’s total compensation package.
