Sr. Practice Manager
Highland Hospital is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead multiple outpatient departments including Geriatrics and Medicine Associates (GAMA), Pulmonary, Audiology, Diabetes Health Source (DHS) and Geriatrics.
The Sr. Practice Manager works collaboratively with members of the leadership team within the Department of Medicine, as well as providers and clinical and clerical office personnel, to promote achievement of goals and objectives that meet and continuously improve operations. This role provides leadership and guidance to office personnel and administrative direction to clinical staff. Responsibilities include training and evaluating office personnel, managing administrative functions for all staff, overseeing billing operations, coordinating services and equipment to enhance day‑to‑day clinic operations, training staff on computer systems, and monitoring and reporting monthly budget variances to the Sr.
Director. The manager also provides capital and operating budget input for annual budget development.
- Oversee administrative and business operations of multiple outpatient departments.
- Provide leadership and guidance to office personnel and administrative direction to clinical staff.
- Train and evaluate office personnel and oversee all administrative functions.
- Directly oversee billing operations and coordinate equipment and services for clinic operations.
- Train staff on daily functions of the system computer programs.
- Monitor and report monthly budget variances and provide budget input for annual development.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - Experience:
4–6 years of relevant experience in a physician practice setting involving oversight of clerical, administrative and billing processes. - Skills:
High level leadership, critical thinking, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and practice management software (Flowcast, eRecord, scanning and Outlook).
$55,681.60 – $72,384 annually.
