Could you be the full‑time onsite Project Product Introduction Manager in New York, NY, US we’re looking for?
Responsibilities- Represent the PI function within the Project Core Team and in front of the customer.
- Ensure PI processes and instructions are implemented, communicated, used, and supported both internally and externally, as formalized in the Warranty/PI Management Plan.
- Manage the full Project Warranty Work Package.
- Drive reliability growth with the customer and internally to achieve the contractual reliability target, ensuring rectifications for delivered products.
- Capture and feed back field experience and field‑data (REX) to the project/organization during start‑up, design, realization (manufacturing), and field support phases.
- Deliver all PI‑related deliverables in a timely manner and in accordance with contract and PI standards through planning, communication, and control.
- Establish the strategy and mobilization plan for commissioning and warranty periods, including defining and agreeing on the use of the customer’s infrastructure.
- Implement an incident management process to follow up on Non‑Conformity Reports (NCRs) and ensure closure of open items, field modifications/retrofits, and reporting.
- Manage project‑dedicated PI staff and ensure adequate resources are available to produce PI deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP) and customer EHS requirements for all customer site activities with the support of EHS team representatives.
- Electrical engineering degree (preferred, not mandatory).
- Experience or understanding of project execution in technical or industrial environments.
- Experience in supporting transit authorities or rail transit agencies (strongly preferred).
- Knowledge of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) principles.
- Experience in influencing reliability growth (highly desirable).
- Familiarity with data analytics and incident management processes.
- Strong communication and customer care skills.
- Team management experience, including leading diverse teams.
- Field experience in commissioning, warranty, or product introduction activities.
- Problem‑solving skills with a focus on resilience and adaptability.
- Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards and practices.
- Ability to identify and manage obsolescence risks effectively.
- Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues.
- Work with a dynamic and multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful execution of Product Introduction activities and reliability growth.
