Aboutthe Team
This Director-level role is chartered to both lead the well‑managed strategy and delivery for a major business unit and transform well‑managed practices to a world‑class, tech and AI‑enabled center of operational excellence that enables best‑in‑class performance, transparency and operational confidence that unlocks innovation and speed to market for the business.
This includes direct operating accountability for critical business operating processes including terms and account closures, and is on the front lines for evaluating and mitigating risk related as well as interfacing directly with product, tech, and business leaders as well as auditors and regulators.
Going forward, leading this team will require an inspiring leader who can develop a clear vision and tangible design for a destination‑state well‑managed architecture and operating model as a part of a broadly reimagined requirements and risk management ecosystem. Further, this leader will be charged with defining and executing delivery and change management to that destination across people, process, and technology while actively operating and supporting the business on an ongoing basis.
Success in this role will require close partnership with risk partners as well as second and third line teams and broader relationships with partners and stakeholders across the organization and business unit.

- Bachelor’s degree in any field and 5 years of Product Management experience
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part‑time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $230,400 – $263,000 for Director, Product Management
New York, NY: $251,400 – $286,900 for Director, Product Management
Richmond, VA: $209,500 – $239,100 for Director, Product Management
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non‑discretionary depending on the plan.
