The investments our partners make are critical to fulfilling Girl Scouts’ mission. We cultivate relationships through traditional philanthropy, corporate partners, government support and through leveraging the brand for alternative revenue streams. We also lead the charge in identifying, engaging and activating our more than 50 million alum.

We steward and lead out on the activation of all funded national partnerships. We build and encourage collaboration between councils and GSUSA to leverage the Movement’s existing and potential investors to further the transformational leadership experiences of more than 1.7 million girls and 750,000 adults.

You Will

TheDirector, Development Grant Managementworks with the Operations and Management team to provide operational support by leading grant management within Development activities. The Director is responsible for the management of all Project Managers within the Development team and will maintain their own grant/project management portfolio. The Director will supervise the day-to-day operations of their team in the successful management of all programs, initiatives, and activities that fall within the scope of the Development team.

The Director, Development Grant Management will be accountable to VP, Development Management & Operations and to the funders, collaborating and having shared accountability with staff across the Development community and larger GSUSA organization. The Director will work closely with direct reports to develop a complete management plan for all projects, including tracking and reporting throughout the activations. This work includes compliance with grant specifications in monitoring partnerships, reporting, tracking metrics and budgets, utilization of funds, and Development organizational reporting.

The Director,Development Grant Management will execute and approve project management budgets including staffing& freelance support, sponsorship marketing and recognition, product development, and asset development. This role will provide senior level support for the alliance, ensuring fair and rapid conflict resolution, facilitate executive support and communication, and conduct results and operations reviews.

The Director Grant Management will work closely with Programs, Marketing and Communications while adhering to legal and HR policies and practices. The role includes research and application of best practices in operations and partner management.
