Purpose:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to serve as a strategic partner to the President and Managing Director. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing leadership bandwidth and converting high-level strategic goals into actionable projects. The role will require you to coordinate with the organization leadership as well as the execution team to ensure operational oversight across different strategic projects of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight:
- Translate the President's vision and the MD's mandates into clear, trackable timelines; monitor business/functions progress toward quarterly KPIs to ensure organizational alignment.
- Strategically oversee the MD's calendar to prioritize high-value initiatives, ensuring all necessary briefing materials are prepared, reviewed, and discussed well in advance of key engagements.
- Facilitate and lead high-level meetings, ensuring agendas align with business priorities and decisions are documented and followed up.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and communication briefs for internal and external audiences, including board meetings, regional reviews, and public affairs briefings.
- Oversee event logistics and coordination for the Managing Director and MBI leadership.
- Strategic Support and Execution:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the President, providing strategic counsel and support in driving business goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage cross-functional initiatives and special projects from conception through successful execution, ensuring timely completion.
- Liaise with internal departments and track external industry shifts, communicating their strategic relevance to the MD to ensure continued alignment with Airbus India's high-level objectives.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a liaison between the President and senior leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, government officials, media, etc.).
- Ensure effective information flow and communication across all levels of the organization.
- Work with the Airbus India's communication team to ensure implementation of the communication strategy. This includes review of social media posts, press interactions, and event preparation.
- Executive Office Management:
- Assist with the preparation for executive committee visits and other key events.
- Handle inquiries and assist with the dissemination of communications from the executive office.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is often preferred. - Experience:
- Experience (e.g., 7-12+ years) in a leadership, operational, or management consulting role, ideally within the aviation, aerospace, or a related technology-driven industry.
- Proven experience in project and program management, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and initiatives.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Skills:
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate strategic goals into operational plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Highly organized, autonomous, rigorous, and capable of taking initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, international, and multicultural environment.
- High emotional intelligence and a collaborative leadership style.
- Proficiency in business analytics tool and Google Suite.
- Understanding of the aviation industry and its dynamics.
- A strong commitment to integrity and compliance risks.
This role requires a proactive, strategic, and highly adaptable individual who can seamlessly navigate between high-level strategy and day-to-day operational details, all while serving as a critical enabler for the top leadership in Airbus India.
