Operations Management, Project & Program Management
Fieldston Power is a New York City distributed energy resources developer and independent power producer with the goal of decarbonizing the built environment in NYC’s five boroughs and the greater metropolitan area. We finance, design, develop, own and operate technologies that lower the cost of energy for our buildings and the surrounding communities, reduce operating expenses and in the process make the grid more resilient.
Our passion is to directly service our neighbors throughout the city who for too long have been overlooked in the energy transformation sweeping the nation, and to help property owners find frictionless and commercially advantageous means to comply with strict GHG reduction requirements.
Fieldston Power’s business model seeks to create a win-win for all parties involved in this energy transformation: we invest directly in real property to offset some of the operational and financial burdens plaguing landlords in an increasingly regulated city landscape with soaring energy costs; we extend meaningful savings to low-to-moderate income (LMI) neighbors who are far too burdened by rising energy costs;
we empower surrounding communities by contributing to a more resilient grid, a healthier living environment and opportunities for local and small business growth through the installation, maintenance and subscription to our community distributed generation (CDG) virtual power plants.
In 2025, we developed 3.5MW of CDG solar across 73 multifamily buildings in the Bronx, Brooklyn and upper Manhattan. In the second half of 2026, while these first systems become operational, we are on course to develop 5MW more and now with pipeline secured to develop 12 MW+ per year by 2027 onwards as we also scale into energy storage.
