Program Manager, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US:
Provide leadership and direction for both program team and business partners. Work cross-functionally to solve problems, implement changes, and ensure appropriate and professional communication among stakeholders. Manage critical day-to-day operational elements of large scale complex programs/projects including: vision, scope, schedule, resource management, vendor management, dependencies, business readiness/organizational change management, value realization necessary to deliver specified requirements, objectives, and value. Monitor and audit program milestones and dates to identify potential jeopardy of program schedule and find resolution.
Track financial plans to ensure it aligns with proposed revenue plan and profitability target. Work with and lead a highly skilled engineering team to guide, implement, and deliver solutions/services to the client on time. Document the project charter, tasks and measures of success. Manage Program progression by effectively defining the project plan (Microsoft), phase gate and quality reviews, change requests, and stakeholder status reporting.
Utilize Waterfall, Agile, MS-Office, JIRA, project management skills, financials, metrics analysis, and complex management skill.
Required:
Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Masters degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Project Manager, or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Waterfall, Agile, MS-Office, JIRA, project management skills, financials, metrics analysis, and complex management skill.
