CFO; Family Office

Overview

Reports to CEO; direct, regular interface with the Principal. Team Senior Controller, Director of Philanthropic Operations, Tax Director, Estates Manager, Fund Controller Mandate.

• Own the consolidated financial picture across all entities.
• Direct liquidity and capital planning across investment commitments, distributions, tax, and grants.
• Oversee tax strategy.
• Foundation compliance through the Tax Director and Director of Philanthropic Operations.
• Maintain the control environment over disbursements, treasury, and banking.
• Oversee investment operations: capital calls, fund administration, performance reporting.
• Lead relationships with external advisors, auditors, bankers, and fund administrators.
• Oversee the family's personal affairs through the Estates Manager: property purchases and maintenance, aircraft, vehicles, and related assets, vendors, and recurring costs.

• 10+ years in finance and operations, including multi‑function leadership at a family office, foundation, or asset manager.
• Leads through senior owners but works hands‑on when needed.
• Strong in multi‑entity finance, consolidated reporting, liquidity, and controls.
• Knows partnership and investment‑entity structures, capital calls, and fund administration.
• Discretion, integrity, and trustworthiness.

• CPA;
  Big Four background.
• 501(c)(3) private foundation and foundation tax experience.
• Prior single-family office or multi‑entity high-net-worth environment.
