Job Overview

JLL empowers you to shape a brighter way. We are seeking an EHS Manager for our Work Dynamics business to join one of JLL's key global accounts. As a senior member of the JLL Americas EHS team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing EHS programs across multiple account locations. The most important objective of this role is ensuring that our employees and subcontractors return home safely at the end of their working day.

You will demonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental issues, ensuring that the JLL EHS Management System and Standards are applied across all areas of responsibility while promoting a positive, proactive EHS culture.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of Global Work Dynamics EHS strategic objectives and ensure operational relevance within the area of responsibility.
  • Manage and reduce operational risks by providing guidance and advice on EHS risk management at all levels, and communicate changes in legislation that affect service delivery.
  • Complete and maintain Hazard/PPE Assessments for all account locations, create and maintain a regulatory compliance register for each location, and ensure building‑related risk assessments meet legal requirements and Client Global Risk Control Standards.
  • Develop the account training matrix, manage and assign online training requirements, and provide training and presentations on relevant EHS topics.
  • Manage OSHA 301/300 record‑keeping and serve as the Account Administrator for the JLL AIMS (Accident & Incident Management System), ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Foster a Culture of Safety by leading, managing, and developing the Account EHS teams and proactively managing client relationships to meet service level expectations.
  • Lead or support investigations of EHS events, perform root‑cause analysis, track corrective actions, and communicate lessons learned across account operations.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of JLL Regional EHS operational controls, ensuring compliance with all EHS Sections of the Operational Compliance Program.
  • Implement EHS strategy for contractors and supply‑chain vendors, ensuring third‑party vendors maintain compliance with JLL Work Dynamics and account EHS standards, and support environmental compliance efforts as specified in the MSA/SOW.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs in operational environments.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or a related field (degree may be waived if you have more than 7 years’ experience or hold an EHS professional certification).
  • Strong track record of EHS management experience within operational management systems and corporate clients across multiple locations.
  • Experience managing EHS for multiple sites across multiple countries with a strong understanding of the regulatory environment in major markets.
  • Recognized professional EHS qualifications and memberships.
  • Proven record of project‑management skills for balancing multi‑site activities and managing competing priorities.
  • Broad knowledge of Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health regulations and internationally recognized EHS systems (e.g., ISO
    45001, ISO
    14001).
  • Experience with management‑system development, implementation, and auditing, driving compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Experience implementing EHS technology platforms and data‑management tools across multiple countries and regions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage people at all levels and translate complex EHS concepts.
  • Proven ability to make presentations and provide effective training to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to interface cooperatively with peers, colleagues, and clients, establishing trust and credibility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience or hold EHS professional certification (CSP, CIH, CHMM, CRSP) for Senior Manager level positions.
  • Practical knowledge of tools and techniques within a real‑estate environment and risk management across a complex multi‑site portfolio.
