The Supervisor of Patient Care in Infectious Disease is responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and developing quality improvement programs. This role is ideal for a nursing leader with a strong background in patient care and management.

• Location: Manhasset, NY
• Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift

• Lead the activities of assigned Patient Care team members.
• Develop quality improvement programs and instruct staff on them.
• Select, develop, manage, and evaluate direct reports.
• Ensure performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.
• Keep current on management and healthcare topics for self-development.
• Identify, develop, implement, and maintain cost-effective methodologies for supply and equipment delivery.
• Participate as a member of the healthcare team and interdisciplinary committees.
• Act as a liaison to various departments to facilitate patient care delivery.
• Promote collegial relationships based on mutual respect and support.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance and equipment replacement programs.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.

• 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• 0-2 years of leadership/management experience required.

• Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
• Specialized certifications as needed.
