We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Rensselaer, NY area. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures, and standards, schedule mechanics and technicians, manage outside orders, and ensure the quality, timely completion of jobs and customer satisfaction.

The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. The role directs the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians, and tire technicians, stages vehicle repair and maintenance work, and drives sales initiatives. Service Managers communicate directly with customers, assess their needs and provide information regarding requested or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance, ensuring a positive in‑store experience.

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant or Service Manager you must: (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess at least one year of experience or training in either automotive parts and/or tire sales, automotive repairs/maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
