Assistant Director -Investigations

The Division of Enforcement, New York regional Office (NYRO) is seeking a Supervisory Market Surveillance Specialist (Assistant Director-Investigations). As an Assistant Director - Investigations, you will be responsible for leading the Investigations Group comprised in NYRO and overseeing its staff comprised of Investigators, Accountants and Securities Compliance Examiners.

Time-in-grade for this announcement is one year at the GS/SK-14 level. Applicants are responsible for confirming all required materials are submitted by the closing date of the announcement. Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector.

Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/SK-14 level

• 1. Leading and evaluating the analysis of financial data to identify patterns, anomalies, or potential misconduct;
• 2. Participating in the development of reports, findings, and recommendations;
• 3. Reviewing of tips, complaints and referrals (TCRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to assist in the development of the factual record in investigations and litigations.
