US is seeking a Facilities Manager
for their families with children shelter in the Bronx
This position is located at East 178 Street Bronx, NY 10457
The Facilities Manager will :
Provide supervisory oversight and training to residential aides and contracted maintenance staff. Supervision includes, but is not limited to, ongoing individual supervisory meetings, building inspections, ongoing feedback regarding job performance, coordinating work schedules, timesheets and requests for time off, coordinating work assignments, evaluating paperwork and documentation including the Security Log and Maintenance Work Order Log books, coordinating security and maintenance staff training, development and evaluation.
May be required to fulfill duties of residential aides and/or custodial personnel in their absence.
- 2+ years of experience in Security or Building Maintenance
- Experience in office management and/or staff supervision is required.
- Experience working in a large residential/institutional setting with a special need’s population is required.
- Strong writing, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
- F-80, CPR/ First Aid Certification
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s or Associates Degree preferred.
- NYS Driver’s License preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred
