Location: Monsey

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Director of Day Services to lead and manage multiple OPWDD programs, including Day Habilitation (Day Hab), Supported Employment (SEMP), and Prevocational Services (Prevoc). The ideal candidate will oversee four program managers, ensuring effective service delivery and compliance with agency and OPWDD standards. While Yiddish-speaking candidates are preferred, it is not a requirement for the role.

No formal experience or educational background is necessary.

* Key Responsibilities:

*

• Supervise and manage Day Hab, SEMP, and Prevocational programs, ensuring they meet individual and organizational goals.

• Oversee four program managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.

• Maintain effective day-to-day operations of all programs, ensuring schedules, activities, and goals are executed smoothly.

• Implement and monitor program-specific plans, maintaining compliance with OPWDD regulations and internal standards.

• Ensure that all services focus on individual growth, independence, and community integration.

• Work collaboratively with individuals, families, and support teams to tailor services to meet diverse needs.

• Provide leadership and support to managers and their respective teams.

• Facilitate ongoing training, professional development, and team-building initiatives.

• Monitor regulatory compliance, safety standards, and performance outcomes.

• Prepare and review documentation, including progress reports, quality assessments, and audits.

• Act as a key point of contact between the organization, external partners, and OPWDD.

• Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, families, and community organizations.
