Field Educator, SSW Research Projects

The School of Social Work at The University at Buffalo, State University of New York ( SUNY ) is seeking individuals with experience and knowledge of the social work practice community and the ability to make connections between the School’s curriculum and the skills and practice knowledge gained in student field placements. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Field Education Department to ensure quality field experiences that enable students to meet required competencies, and adhere to accreditation standards.

This is a pooled posting, and positions are filled on an as-needed basis

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field and up to 2 years related experience. Coordination of activity with a wide variety of other administrative units and external agencies requires strong interpersonal skills.

• Applicants must be licensed MSW’s.
• Two or more years of relevant social work experience.
• Prior experience supervising social work students preferred.

This position will never drive a university owned vehicle.

Salary Range $41,600 - $52,000

Additional Salary Information The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.

37.5 hours per week
