We’re filling this role for a client, an innovative wellness company redefining hospitality through a first-of-its-kind social wellness club experience. Located in SoHo, this is an opportunity to lead one of the brand’s flagship locations.

The Opportunity

As General Manager, you'll lead all aspects of club operations, team performance, and the member experience. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role where you'll spend your time on the floor coaching your team, building relationships with members, driving business performance, and fostering a culture of exceptional hospitality. Success in this role means creating an environment where every guest, member, and team member leaves better than they arrived.

What

You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and exceptional hospitality.

  • Deliver an outstanding guest and member experience by building relationships, resolving concerns, and maintaining the highest service standards.

  • Drive membership growth, retention, and overall business performance through relationship-based sales and operational excellence.

  • Oversee all aspects of club operations, including staffing, scheduling, facilities, inventory, and day-to-day execution.

  • Own the club's financial performance by managing revenue, KPIs, labor, and profitability.

  • Maintain exceptional brand standards while supporting local partnerships, events, and community engagement.

Who You Are
  • 6+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, retail, restaurants, wellness, fitness, or another high-touch customer environment.

  • Proven success leading and developing large, customer-facing teams.

  • Strong operational and financial acumen with experience managing KPIs, budgets, and business performance.

  • A hands-on, floor-focused leader who builds relationships with both employees and guests.

  • Exceptional communication skills, emotional intelligence, and professionalism.

  • Passionate about creating memorable customer experiences and developing high-performing teams.

  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
