The Crime Analysis Center Director manages the New York City Crime Analysis Center located in Manhattan, overseeing the physical space, crime analysis programs, and multi-agency staff. The role reports to the Program Manager for the Office of Crime Analysis and Strategic Partnerships and focuses on analyzing crime data and promoting intelligence sharing among law enforcement agencies to reduce crime and develop evidence-based policing strategies.
- Bachelor's degree and 15 years of experience in a state or local police organization in the geographic area
- At least 4 years of experience at the senior management level
- 2 years of experience in the field of crime analysis
- Master's degree in a related field (preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of evidence-based and data-driven policing strategies
