Position Summary

The Producer, Israel Delegation Content serves as FIDF's lead content producer for Israeli soldier delegations and unpaid Israeli speakers.

Reporting to the Executive Producer of Events and Delegations, this role is responsible for securing, developing, preparing, and strategically deploying the organization's most compelling soldier stories across FIDF's national event portfolio. Acting as the primary liaison between FIDF's National Content & Production team, FIDF Israel, and FIDF Nationwide Chapters, the Producer oversees the complete content lifecycle—from sourcing exceptional and relevant speakers and shepherding required approvals to speech development and strategic placement to optimize their U.S. experience and maximize impact for both the soldiers and the organization.

This role requires exceptional writing skills, storytelling ability, editorial judgment, organization, meticulous attention to detail, and relationship management. The successful candidate will possess a keen instinct for identifying stories that resonate with American audiences while ensuring every soldier's experience reflects the highest standards of professionalism, care, and mission impact.

Key Responsibilities Soldier Recruitment

  • Ensure all IDF rules and approvals are received, understood and upheld to secure soldier participation.
  • Continually identify emerging stories and speakers whose experiences align with FIDF's programming and fundraising priorities.
Speaker Strategy & Event Matching
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of each soldier's background, personality, communication style, and story.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of FIDF's regional events, donor audiences, fundraising priorities, and programming needs to inform strategic speaker placement.
  • Recommend and pitch soldier speakers to Chapters and Regional teams, providing strategic guidance on optimal placements.
  • Strategically optimize the deployment of soldier speakers across FIDF's event calendar to maximize organizational impact while ensuring a meaningful and rewarding experience for each soldier.
Speech writing & Speaker Development
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all soldier-related content throughout the delegation process.
  • Revise original soldier speeches and content, while always preserving each speaker’s authentic voice. Develop show decks, talking points, biographies and other content needed for smooth, resonant and effective appearances.
  • Ensure Chapters receive complete, accurate and timely speaker materials to support successful programming before, during, and after each delegation visit.
  • Collaborate with producers and regional staff to tailor presentations for events when necessary.
Content Leadership
  • Ensure messaging remains accurate, mission-driven, emotionally compelling, and aligned with FIDF's brand standards.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of soldier profiles, speaking history, content assets, evaluations, and future opportunities.
Qualifications Experience
  • Five or more years of experience in content development, communications, journalism, speech writing, live events, public affairs, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience writing speeches, executive messaging, presentations, or long-form narrative content.

  • Excellent editorial judgment and the ability to identify compelling stories and shape them for maximum audience impact.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with soldiers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for FIDF's mission and a deep appreciation for the experiences of Israel's soldiers.
  • Collaborative, proactive, positive, professional and highly resourceful.
  • Calm under pressure with exceptional follow-through.
  • Emotionally intelligent: sensitive to the unique experiences of speakers while maintaining high standards of excellence.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Provide responsive, high-touch support to visiting delegations throughout their time in the United States, including outside of standard business hours as needed to ensure an exceptional soldier experience.
