We're looking for a Safety & Fleet Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving our safety culture, overseeing our fleet operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and helping protect our most valuable assets-our people.

In this role, you will:- Lead and continuously improve the company's safety programs, policies, and training initiatives.
- Foster a culture of safety by partnering with leaders across the organization to identify risks and implement practical solutions.
- Manage the company's fleet program, including driver onboarding, vehicle assignments, compliance tracking, and fleet performance.
- Monitor driver qualifications, Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs), telematics, and DOT compliance requirements.
- Investigate workplace injuries, vehicle accidents, and safety incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Administer Workers' Compensation and automobile liability claims while coordinating return-to-work programs.
- Conduct job site safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and other applicable regulations.
- Oversee fleet maintenance, vehicle registrations, inspections, repairs, and lifecycle planning.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, repair facilities, and service providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective fleet operations.
- Prepare regulatory filings, compliance documentation, and executive reporting related to safety, fleet, and operational performance.
- Provide guidance and support during fleet emergencies and safety-related incidents as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-4 years of experience managing safety programs, fleet operations, or a combination of both.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Experience administering fleet management systems, driver qualification programs, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with employees, managers, vendors, and external partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and fleet, safety, or compliance management systems.
- OSHA 30 certification or other professional safety certification is preferred.
