An iconic luxury retailer in NYC is seeking dynamic people leaders to join their management team, leading some of the top luxury sellers in the industry. Partnering closely with senior executive, you will guide a high-performing team of luxury sales associates, stylists, and support staff. Your mission is to inspire exceptional client experiences, drive revenue growth, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the sales floor.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development- Act as an on-the-floor coach and mentor, providing real-time feedback, product knowledge, and clienteling best practices.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable culture built on service excellence and teamwork.
- Identify growth opportunities, coordinating ongoing training and skill-building initiatives for all team members.
- Partner with senior store leadership to develop and execute sales strategies that surpass departmental targets.
- Guide associates in cultivating VIP portfolios, engaging new prospects, and leveraging exclusive events or product launches.
- Champion long‑term client relationships, ensuring every interaction reflects our legendary service.
- Oversee daily operational touchpoints: scheduling, merchandise flow, inventory accuracy, fulfillment of client requests, and POS integrity.
- Streamline processes to optimize time management, resource allocation, and workflow efficiency.
- Utilize internal reporting tools to track sales activity, client outreach, and inventory performance, leveraging insights for continuous improvement.
- Uphold our standards of luxury, ensuring an immaculate, on‑brand shopping environment.
- Liaise with Visual Merchandising, Buying, and Store Operations teams to execute product presentations and align on seasonal priorities.
- Stay attuned to market trends and competitor activity, contributing ideas that keep assortments fresh and relevant.
- Experience:
5+ years in luxury retail, including 2+ years in a supervisory or assistant‑manager role, leading high‑volume selling teams and engaging discerning clientele. - Client Development:
Proven track record of cultivating and retaining VIP clients through elevated, personalized service. - Leadership & Communication:
Inspirational people leader with exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. - Operational Savvy:
Proficient in retail management systems, inventory controls, and sales analytics; comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
