Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager leads project teams and plans, directs, and coordinates activities of large-scale, energy efficiency, capital improvement and major maintenance-focused construction projects supporting large energy asset operations. Ensures that projects are completed safely, with a high level of quality, on-time and on/under budget. Manages all aspects of project phases, from conceptual through pre-construction to completion. Acts as primary liaison with clients, existing plant operations and maintenance staff, support development of subcontract and procurement documentation, including scope of work, equipment/material lists, and specifications.

Negotiates subcontract and procurement scope, and terms & conditions.

Primary duties and accountabilities include maintaining and monitoring safe working conditions; identifying, correcting, and reporting unsafe work areas, enforcing safety compliance. Developing and reviewing project schedules, cost estimation, bill of materials, budgets, scopes of work, standards and quotes from suppliers. Leading, planning, directing, and coordinating all project activities to ensure goals and objectives are achieved within established time frames and budget constraints.

Managing all field resources and personnel, ensuring professional project execution from construction through project close-out. Managing and leading key aspects of project management support, including coordination of shop drawings and submittals, development and processing of change orders, response to Requests for Information (RFIs), tracking of project progress and schedules, preparation and tracking of invoices, as well as financial planning, cost forecasting, and schedule management.
