About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead a multidisciplinary environmental and hazardous materials division delivering complex consulting services across site assessment, remediation, and regulatory compliance. This role provides strategic, technical, and operational leadership for a diverse portfolio of high-impact environmental projects.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise, strong client-facing skills, and a proven ability to mentor teams while driving quality, compliance, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex environmental projects from initiation through completion, including Phase I & II ESAs, vapor intrusion, brownfield programs, UST compliance, remediation design, and oversight.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and manage long-term client relationships.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Direct, mentor, and allocate resources across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Act as QA/QC lead, performing final technical review of reports and proposals.
  • Monitor project financials and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Support business development through proposal preparation and client presentations.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies and support staff recruitment and development.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting.
  • Degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Professional licensure or certification preferred (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM).
  • Strong knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, Brownfields, and applicable state and local programs.
  • Extensive experience with environmental site assessments, remediation, and regulatory reporting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
