Planning Officer (Team Lead) at UN
Grade: P-4.
Location:
New York, United States. Final date to receive applications: 6 September 2026. Under the supervision of the Chief of the Programme Management and Support Section, UNMAS, and within delegated authority, the incumbent is responsible for the following duties:
- Leads one of the PMSS regional teams, as Team Lead, providing support for budgeting, management, and implementation of mine action programmes with UNMAS Programme Officers and field staff.
- Coordinates programme management and implementation with other DPO and OROLSI components, UN departments and UN agencies, funds and programmes for the assigned team.
- Acts as a technical resource for UNMAS Programme Officers.
- Identifies resource requirements, develop cost plans and formulate deployment plans for the assigned team in consultation with Strategic Planning and Operational Support Section.
