Position: Director for our Group Home at Menorah Park of CNY
Location: Lyndon

BROAD FUNCTION:

To plan and administer Menorah Park Group Residence programs and services provided by the Menorah Park Campus, with major attention to ensuring the creation of an environment that is oriented to wellness and growth.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the overall quality and delivery of Menorah Park Group Residences services.

Defines philosophy, goals and objective and Menorah Park Group Residences.

Ensures regulatory compliance for the programs.

Responsible for maintaining revenues and expenses within the approved budget.

Ensures the programs are efficiently planned, managed, and will coordinate with other campus operations.

Ensures that effective policies and procedures are established and followed.

Ensures that Menorah Park Group Residences employees receive prescribed orientation, in-services and supervision. Ensures that established personnel policies are followed.

Ensures that a resident's complaints, problems and suggestions are addressed and responses are provided as appropriate.

Submits a monthly report regarding occupancy and related statistics of assisted living activities to the CEO and other reports as requested.

Carries out special projects as assigned by the CEO.

Attends meetings, prepares reports, analyzes and provides recommendations in a timely and accurate manner.

Recommends and implements appropriate activities to encourage and advance program(s) development and growth.

Develops and implements procedures for gathering information and keeping necessary records and statistics.

Promotes and develops favorable and cooperative community relations.

Promotes the IRA through brochures, public speaking engagements and on a one-on-one basis.

Plans ahead for anticipated growth areas.

Maintains professional growth and development by attending workshops, seminars and other related meetings.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Four-year college degree in Social Work or related field.

Minimum 5 years-experience in a supervisory or management position or an equivalent combination of

education and experience.

Knowledge of regulatory guidelines per OPWDD.

Valid NYS Driver's License
