Position: General Manager – Royal Scenic, USA
Location: New York

Royal Scenic, a leading air consolidator and tour wholesaler serving travel professionals nationwide, is expanding into the USA market and is seeking a highly motivated General Manager for our USA Branch.

Role Overview

As an agency General Manager, you will bring in business by establishing and managing a strong client relationship, and drive business growth by leading our company’s team effort. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who excels at driving business growth, fostering client relationships, and leading people. Objectives

  • Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive business growth, enhance client satisfaction, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Managing client accounts, maintaining strong relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Overseeing the organization’s daily operations, ensuring efficient workflows, resource allocation, and achievement of business objectives.
  • Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Monitoring financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management, to ensure profitability and economic health.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance productivity and client satisfaction.
  • Representing the organization in client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote services and build business relationships.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and execute key sales and business strategies and action plans to achieve monthly/quarterly goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, creative, and sales, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to support professional development and improvement.
  • Manage resources, including staffing, equipment, and technology, to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency.
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead the efforts to secure them.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention levels.
Required skills and qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience as an agency manager or a similar role in sales and business development, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role or client services.
  • Good knowledge of the USA consolidator market, insights in Asia market will be an advantage
  • Track record in achieving sales targets, training sales agents, and recruiting.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving business objectives.
  • Strong team leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in client relationship management across various demographics.
Preferred skills and qualifications
  • Financial acumen and experience in budgeting, forecasting, and economic analysis.
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape.
