Dispensary Manager – Terp Bros Ozone Park

Terp Bros Cannabis Dispensary is bringing its unique culture to Ozone Park, and we’re looking for an experienced cannabis retail professional to step in as our
Dispensary Manager
. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for store performance, staff development, compliance, and customer experience. The Manager will work closely with
Terp Bros Senior Management
while overseeing the sales floor and coordinating with Fulfillment and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and hold the budtender team accountable for service, sales, attendance, compliance, and company standards.
• Drive sales through customer engagement, product education, upselling, and staff coaching.
• Track individual and store
  KPIs
  , including sales performance, average cart, productivity, attendance, and other company metrics.
• Oversee daily floor operations, shift coverage, breaks, opening/closing procedures, and high-traffic periods.
• Work closely with
  Fulfillment and Delivery teams
  to maintain efficient order flow, restocking, communication, and customer service.
• Ensure the sales floor is organized, stocked, clean, and operating efficiently.
• Handle escalated customer concerns and employee issues professionally.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and continued staff development in accordance with Terp Bros SOPs and Employee Handbook.
• Maintain strict compliance with New York State OCM regulations and Terp Bros policies.
• Work directly with
  Senior Management
  to execute sales goals, promotions, staffing plans, and operational priorities.
• Prepare
  weekly and monthly management reports
  covering sales, KPIs, staffing, operational concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Attend scheduled
  Management Meetings
  and conduct regular
  Staff Meetings
  to communicate goals, performance, compliance updates, and company initiatives.
• Identify operational or staffing issues and provide solutions and recommendations to Senior Management.

What We’re Looking For

• Cannabis dispensary management experience required, preferably as a Manager, Assistant Manager, Shift Lead, or Lead Budtender.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and staff accountability skills.
• Ability to understand and manage sales and employee KPIs.
• Strong cannabis product knowledge and passion for customer education.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working across sales, fulfillment, inventory, and delivery operations.
• Dependability, punctuality, professionalism, and accountability.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment.
• Positive, team-oriented leadership style that supports the Terp Bros culture.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.

The Terp Bros Ozone Park Manager is expected to operate the store with an
ownership mentality
—understanding the numbers, knowing the team, identifying problems before they become larger issues, and maintaining constant communication with Senior Management.
