The Director of 59th Street Flagship Transformation will lead the continued multi-year transformation of Bloomingdale’s iconic NYC flagship, with the ambition to strengthen 59th Street’s position as a world-class luxury destination and defining expression of the Bloomingdale’s brand. This highly visible role owns the integrated transformation roadmap and the rigorous project management required to deliver it. The Director will drive the detailed execution of the transformation across work streams, partnering with senior leaders and functional owners to ensure all elements come together with discipline, pace, and exceptional execution.

The role requires the ability to maintain a clear view of the total flagship vision and intended outcomes while staying deeply engaged in the details by connecting work streams, anticipating risks and dependencies, driving timely decisions and accountability, and ensuring commitments are delivered. The Director will identify and surface gaps where plans may not fully support the broader transformation vision and drive resolution with the appropriate sponsors and functional leaders.

The Director will report to the Senior Director, Store & Portfolio Strategy, with a dotted line to the VP, Regional Director of Stores, New York City, and partner closely with Executive Committee sponsors and senior leaders across the organization.

• Own the integrated multi-year roadmap and project plan for the transformation of the total 59th Street flagship, turning the transformation vision and priorities into a clear plan with work streams, milestones, owners, dependencies and deliverables. Ensure major renovation phases, smaller capital investments, and broader business initiatives all advance the flagship toward that vision.
• Maintain a detailed command of the project across all work streams, including milestones, dependencies, decisions, risks, owners and deadlines. Drive follow-through, resolve issues and elevate quickly when needed to maintain pace, quality and accountability.
• Establish and lead the project governance and operating cadence required to connect work streams, drive accountability, surface issues and decisions, and ensure critical details and commitments do not fall through the cracks.
