POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with program leadership in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational policies, procedures, and administrative processes supporting the Physician Assistant Program.
  • Coordinate and lead administrative activities necessary to support and maintain compliance with ARC-PA accreditation standards and other applicable regulatory and institutional requirements.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision of program staff; monitor work priorities and ensure operational needs are met.
  • Partner with the Program Director in faculty recruitment, onboarding, and orientation activities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational workflows, controls, and procedures related to program administration, assessment activities, student support processes, and accreditation requirements.
  • Manage program budgets and expenditures in collaboration with the Program Director, including monitoring spending, forecasting resource needs, and ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
  • Serve as the primary administrative liaison between the PA Program and institutional offices including Financial Aid, Registrar, Human Resources, Budget and Finance, Procurement, and Information Technology.
  • Analyze operational challenges and recommend solutions, process improvements, and resource allocation strategies to enhance program effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Coordinate program reporting, accreditation documentation, compliance records, and operational data required for institutional and regulatory reviews.
  • Represent the program on institutional committees, work groups, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Represent the program and institution at professional meetings, accreditation activities, and external conferences as assigned.
  • Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing program activities, resolving operational issues, and implementing administrative solutions consistent with program and institutional goals.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s preferred.

Experience in program planning, implementation, management, and evaluation.

Experience in educational program management preferred.

3-5 years’ experience in higher education administration preferred

  • Familiarity with Canvas LMS and Qualtrics is preferred, but not required
Minimum Salary Range

USD $90,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Salary Range

USD $/Yr.

ABOUT US

The Program Manager will join a newly developing Physician Assistant Program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. As the initial staff member for the program, this role will work with the Program Director and education leadership on development of all aspects of the Physician Assistant Program. With a primary focus on operational infrastructure, this position will lead the efforts on establishing policy and procedures for programmatic operations, as well as recruiting and onboarding additional staff members.

Additionally, this position will work with leadership to ensure a successful ARC-PA accreditation process and recruiting/admitting the inaugural class of students to matriculate in the Fall of 2028.
