VP of Walmart Sales & Merchandising - Multiple Apparel Divisions

GD Tex is launching and expanding several Walmart apparel divisions and is seeking an experienced, driven, and entrepreneurial Vice President of Sales & Merchandising to take ownership and lead the growth of this business.

This is a high-impact leadership position for someone who knows Walmart, understands how to build successful apparel programs, and can turn product opportunities into significant business.

The ideal candidate must have strong, recent Walmart experience - preferably within the past five years - with a proven track record in both sales and merchandising. This person should have a deep understanding of how Walmart operates, including buyer relationships, product strategy, pricing, margins, retail programs, and execution.

We are looking for a builder and business leader, not simply a salesperson - someone who can develop the strategy, build the team, create the product, drive the relationships, and ultimately own the results.

• Lead the sales and merchandising strategy across multiple Walmart apparel divisions.
• Build and grow significant Walmart apparel programs from the ground up.
• Develop strong product direction and create compelling, profitable retail programs.
• Manage, strengthen, and expand relationships with Walmart buyers and key decision-makers.
• Identify new categories, programs, and opportunities to aggressively grow the business.
• Work closely with design, merchandising, sourcing, and production teams from concept through execution.
• Take ownership of pricing, product positioning, margins, and overall program profitability.
• Present new concepts, product lines, and business opportunities directly to Walmart.
• Recruit, develop, and lead strong internal teams as the business expands.
• Manage multiple divisions and priorities while maintaining speed, execution, and accountability.
• Take full ownership of the business and results across each assigned division.

• Strong and recent Walmart experience is essential.
• Established relationships with Walmart apparel buyers and decision-makers are highly preferred.
• Proven success in apparel sales and merchandising.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, launch, and grow large-scale retail programs.
• Strong understanding of product development, costing, pricing, margins, and profitability.
• Excellent leadership, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial, energetic, creative, hands-on, and highly organized.
• Strong commercial instincts with the ability to recognize opportunities and move quickly to capitalize on them.
• Ability to manage multiple divisions, teams, and priorities in a fast-moving environment.

This is not a maintenance role.
