WHAT THE TEAM IS SEEKINGOur team is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager who can build, scale, and empower high-performing engineering teams while delivering reliable, high-impact product solutions. This role is ideal for someone who is equally passionate about people leadership and technical excellence—and who knows how to translate business and product strategy into strong execution.
As a Sr. Engineering Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping team culture, improving engineering processes, and ensuring we consistently ship high-quality software that solves real user problems.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGReporting directly to the VP, Engineering & Product, the Sr. Engineering Manager will lead one or more engineering teams responsible for designing, building, and maintaining core product capabilities. You’ll partner closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to plan roadmaps, prioritize work, and deliver against business goals. At the same time, you’ll coach engineers, strengthen technical practices, and continuously improve how teams operate and collaborate.
This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong emphasis on people management, delivery, and technical decision-making.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FORThe following responsibilities are considered essential functions of this position and are not intended to bean exhaustive list of all duties.
- Leading and managing engineering teams, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and career development.
- Partnering with Product and Design to translate product vision and requirements into technical plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- Owning delivery outcomes for your teams, ensuring projects ship on time, with high quality, andwith clear communication of risks and tradeoffs.
- Driving strong engineering practices, including code quality, testing, documentation, observability,and operational excellence.
- Providing technical guidance and architectural input, while empowering your engineers to make sound design decisions.
- Identifying and addressing process inefficiencies, improving team workflows, and scaling agile practices as teams and scope grow.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with infrastructure, data, security, and other engineering leaders toensure alignment and shared standards.
