Regional Perishable Operations Manager Job New York New York USA,Management

Oversee and drive execution and operational excellence across a network of clubs
Maintain financial accountability for assigned clubs
Ensure execution of merchandising priorities, displays, sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and product flows
Maintain standards for quality, ordering, training, and production
Identify execution improvement opportunities and implement merchandising strategies for chain-wide consistency
Achieve regional perishable sales and profitability plans through data analysis
Generate actionable insights, identify trends, and address operational improvement opportunities
Collaborate with clubs, regional teams, Merchandising, Club Operations, and DC Operations
Develop Club Manager, Fresh Manager, and Meat Manager skills
Establish communication channels and align teams on strategic objectives
Drive training programs focused on sales, efficiency, and regulatory/company-policy compliance
Assist with succession planning for Fresh operations leadership roles
Participate in new club openings and transfer perishable-area knowledge to club team members

Requirements

5 years of experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in BJ's IS, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Previous experience in perishable goods merchandising and operations is advantageous
Must be within commutable distance to clubs surrounding the upstate New York/Ohio market
Ability to travel to and participate in new club openings
Familiarity with AI tools, including ChatGPT, valued
