Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to oversee the daily operations of a long-term care and rehabilitation facility. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring high standards of resident care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The LNHA will lead both clinical and administrative teams while fostering a culture focused on quality, accountability, and resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Facility Management

  • Oversee all clinical and administrative operations, ensuring effective day-to-day performance.

  • Implement and maintain systems to improve operational efficiency across departments.

  • Coordinate interdisciplinary teams (nursing, dietary, social services, activities, etc.) to ensure high-quality care delivery.

  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to staff to promote a strong, service-driven culture.

Financial Oversight:

  • Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and overall fiscal performance.

  • Identify and implement cost-effective strategies while maintaining quality standards.

  • Monitor expenses and collaborate with leadership to meet financial goals.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure adherence to all state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.

  • Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Stay informed of regulatory updates and industry best practices.

Resident Advocacy:

  • Promote and protect resident rights and ensure individualized, compassionate care.

  • Support a culture where resident feedback is valued and acted upon.

  • Maintain a high standard of resident satisfaction and quality of life.

Team Collaboration & Staff Development:

  • Promote a collaborative, team-oriented environment among staff, emphasizing open communication and mutual respect.

  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

  • Evaluate staff performance and implement engagement and retention strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active New York State LNHA license.

  • Proven leadership experience in long-term care or healthcare management.

  • Strong team-building and performance management skills.

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

  • Proficiency in standard computer applications.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality assurance practices.

  • Experience with financial management in a healthcare setting.
