About the Role:

We are seeking a full‑time “
Operational Readiness Manager ” to lead operational readiness and organizational transformation for a major urban rail modernization program. The ideal candidate will support the transition from conventional signal systems to a Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop and implement an operational readiness and transformation plan.
Identify gaps in workforce skills, processes, technology, and resources.
Oversee implementation activities and monitor key milestones.
Coordinate new workflows, systems, procedures, and operating practices.
Work with leadership and cross‑functional teams to secure resources and align program goals.
Communicate readiness requirements to leadership, technical teams, and frontline staff.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions.
Ensure compliance with applicable safety, governance, and program requirements.
Document lessons learned and support continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in transit operations and maintenance, preferably within a large urban rail system.
Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of CBTC systems and their operational implications.
Experience leading organizational change or operational transformation initiatives.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to coordinate across a large, complex organization.

Estimated Annual Compensation:

$180,000–$210,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Location:

New York, NY

This is a full‑time, on‑site position. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional weekend work may be required based on project needs.
