The Global Director owns the Enterprise Laboratory Instrument Services (ELIS) program end to end across North America and Europe. The role is accountable for one operating model across both regions, contractual performance at program level, and the senior client relationship above site and regional level.

The program covers roughly 35,000 assets across twenty sites in five countries, on four systems of record, under two entirely different workforce transfer regimes. North America has no automatic transfer and every seat is a posted requisition. Belgium and the Netherlands transfer automatically under the Acquired Rights Directive, and Switzerland is terminate and rehire. The role has to hold one service standard across all of that rather than allowing a regional variant to form.

• Own one operating model across both regions, including intake, entitlement, dispatch, verification and payment, so a site does not run a local variant because of its size or history.
• Own program-level contractual performance against the master service agreement and every executed addendum.
• Hold the program governance rhythm, including steering meetings, checkpoint reviews and executive reporting to the client.
• Own the transition plan through to go-live and the stabilisation period after it.
• Own the global data standard so a single reporting position exists across four systems of record.

• Lead both Regional Directors of Operations and hold them to one set of standards rather than two.
• Arbitrate where a regional constraint conflicts with the global model, and decide rather than allowing the difference to persist unresolved.
• Own the global workforce position across both transfer regimes, partnering with Human Resources on automatic transfer obligations in Europe and on the posted requisition process in North America.
• Own succession and bench depth for regional and site leadership across both regions.
• Own retention for the program, with named plans for critical and hard-to-replace individuals, including sole coverage at small sites.

• Own the program-level change order and material scope change position, including any change that crosses both regions.
• Own program profit and loss, including forecast accuracy at global level.
• Own the commercial position on entitlement strategy jointly with the Global Director, Sourcing and Payments, so a sourcing decision and a delivery consequence are never separated.
• Approve deferment and coverage decisions that carry compliance or contractual consequence at program level.
• Grow the program through scope expansion, third-party conversion and additional site onboarding.

• Hold the senior client relationship above site and regional level, and present at executive reviews.
• Partner with client executive stakeholders to align the Renovo asset management strategy with their priority business goals.
• Present current state of service delivery, key performance indicator performance and forward goals at program governance and quarterly business reviews.
