Position Objective:

Leads and manages CFO-led commercial oversight of Cubic and other OMNY vendors, directing the enforcement of contractual commitments, pricing structures, service levels, and delivery outcomes. Accountable for ensuring vendor performance is transparent, commercially enforceable, and aligned with MTA's strategic and financial objectives, while managing the full commercial lifecycle of OMNY vendor relationships at an executive-facing level.

Responsibilities:

• Own and exercise full management accountability for OMNY commercial vendor relationships, setting performance expectations, directing remediation activities, and ensuring all vendor engagements align with MTA’s financial and operational objectives.
• Lead and enforce vendor performance management against contractual and commercial terms, directing the application of remedies, penalties, and escalation provisions and holding vendors to account for service delivery commitments.
• Manage Cubic contract administration from a commercial and financial perspective, including change orders, funding agreements, and cost and schedule impact assessments.
• Direct OMNY enhancement governance from a commercial and outcomes standpoint, establishing and enforcing business and financial requirements and ensuring delivery priorities are aligned with cost, reliability, and revenue objectives across all enhancement initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional engagement with IT, Operations, and PMO functions on delivery execution, setting direction and resolving commercial or contractual impediments that affect program timelines or outcomes.
• Synthesize and present vendor performance and delivery issues as clear financial, contractual, and risk assessments for executive decision-making, serving as the authoritative management voice on OMNY commercial matters.

Required Qualifications:

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to present complex commercial and contractual matters clearly to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated organizational leadership and executive presentation skills, including experience preparing and delivering materials for senior governance forums and board-level audiences.
• Proven ability to lead and influence across all organizational levels, including managing relationships with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and external vendors.
• Experience managing complex vendor relationships and negotiations with external agencies, technology providers, or government counterparts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously, driving projects to completion on time and within budget in a fast-paced, complex organizational environment.
