POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager II to independently lead multiple and/or complex federal projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including demonstrated success overseeing Design-Build (DB) or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) efforts. This role requires advanced knowledge of federal regulations and compliance, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The Project Manager II is expected to provide guidance to Project Manager I employees, drive consistent project execution, and build strong client relationships while delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering projects that meet safety, quality, schedule, cost, and client expectations.

• Project Leadership: Independently leads multiple and/or complex federal construction projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring successful execution of scope, schedule, budget, quality, and compliance objectives.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Builds and maintains strong working relationships with federal agencies, clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Budget & Resource Management:
  Develops and manages project budgets, forecasts costs, monitors resource utilization, and proactively addresses cost or schedule variances.

  Ensures compliance with applicable federal regulations, contract requirements, and QGS standards while identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
• Schedule & Scope Management: Develops and maintains integrated project schedules, manages scope changes, and coordinates recovery plans to maintain project performance.
• Team Leadership: Leads cross-functional project teams while providing day-to-day guidance and mentorship to Project Manager I employees and promoting collaboration, accountability, quality, and safety.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  :
  Delivers timely project reporting, analyzes project performance metrics, recommends operational improvements, and supports consistent execution across multiple projects.
