The Vice President, Silicon Front-End Engineering Competency Unit (CU), is responsible for leading and scaling the organization's Silicon Front-End Engineering Competency Unit
, encompassing Architecture, Design, and Pre-Silicon Verification
. The role carries end-to-end accountability for functional delivery excellence, competency development, organizational growth, talent leadership, customer satisfaction, and business expansion across semiconductor programs serving multiple industry verticals including High-Performance Computing (HPC), Data Centers/AI, Automotive and Functional Safety, Telecommunications, Industrial, Life Sciences, AI/ML, Consumer Electronics, and MCU-based platforms.
The Vice President will partner closely with Vertical Delivery Heads, Account Teams, Program Leadership, Sales, Solutions/Practice team jeads, and other Silicon Competency Unit leaders to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery of semiconductor programs while continuously strengthening organizational capabilities and engineering excellence.
Beyond delivery leadership, the role is responsible for building a world-class Front-End Engineering Competency Unit capable of supporting current and future business demands through scalable talent development, technology investments, reusable engineering assets, leadership cultivation, and operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Competency Unit Leadership & Strategy
- Define and execute the strategic vision, growth roadmap, and operational framework for the Silicon Front-End Engineering Competency Unit.
- Establish the CU as a center of excellence for Architecture, RTL Design, and Pre-Silicon Verification.
- Align competency investments with emerging semiconductor technologies, market trends, customer requirements, and business growth objectives.
- Drive organizational scalability to support expanding customer programs across multiple verticals and geographies.
- Develop and sustain a high-performance engineering culture focused on innovation, accountability, technical excellence, and customer success.
- Own end-to-end functional delivery for Architecture, Design, and Pre-Silicon Verification engagements across all semiconductor programs.
- Ensure First-Time-Right execution, predictable delivery, and adherence to committed schedules, quality targets, and customer expectations.
- Establish and institutionalize engineering best practices, design reviews, verification sign-off methodologies, quality frameworks, and delivery governance mechanisms.
- Drive execution excellence through proactive risk management, issue resolution, and escalation prevention.
- Partner with Vertical Delivery Heads to ensure seamless execution of customer programs across various business sectors and technology domains.
- Ensure delivery commitments are consistently achieved with high quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

- Establish competency development roadmaps, certification programs, technical academies, and knowledge management systems.
- Develop reusable IP, frameworks, accelerators, methodologies, and best practices to improve delivery efficiency and quality.
- Maintain technology leadership through continuous investment in emerging front-end design and verification technologies.
- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams aligned with business growth objectives.
- Develop a strong leadership pipeline through succession planning and structured leadership development initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement, career progression, retention, and workforce stability.
- Ensure optimal competency mix, resource readiness, and deployment effectiveness across customer engagements.
- Lead initiatives to improve workforce capability, productivity, and organizational effectiveness while minimizing attrition.
- Act as the executive owner for customer success within the Front-End Engineering domain.
- Build trusted relationships with customer engineering leaders, program managers, architects, and executive stakeholders.
