Brand Director

Summary

The Brand Director is the U.S. marketing and commercial leader responsible for driving long-term brand equity, consumer desirability, and profitable business growth across all channels. This role owns the U.S. strategic vision, brand P&L, and integrated marketing programs, leads one direct report, and partners closely with commercial teams and distributors. The position is based in New York with a hybrid office schedule and requires approximately 30% travel.

• Define the U.S. strategic vision, growth roadmap, and annual business objectives for the brand.
• Own brand P&L, A&P investment strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance reviews.
• Lead integrated marketing programs including PR, experiential, social, influencer, partnerships, content, and paid/owned/earned media.
• Partner with commercial leadership, regional teams, and distributors to drive volume, depletions, profitability, and share growth.
• Maintain a strong market presence with sales teams and customers and lead business reviews and market assessments.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Brand Manager and collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure execution excellence.

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in brand marketing, commercial leadership, or general management (10-15+ preferred).
• Proven success across PR, experiential, social, influencer, partnerships, and integrated media.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with demonstrated P&L management experience and knowledge of the U.S. three-tier system.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills and ability to travel approximately 30%.
