Position Summary:

The Pricing team is responsible for maximizing ticket revenue across the Jet Blue network through sound fare structures, disciplined tariff management, and protection against revenue leakage. Within Pricing, the Fare Rules and Revenue Integrity function owns the accuracy and integrity of Jet Blue's fare rules, tariffs, and specialty/off-tariff pricing, while also protecting revenue across the full booking and ticketing lifecycle, identifying, quantifying, and closing leakage from fare rule violations, distribution abuse, agency misconduct, and fraudulent booking behavior.

The Manager leads a newly established function that combines core fare and tariff ownership with a growing fraud and revenue leakage mandate, leading a team of Analysts spanning Fare Rules & Tariffs and Specialty/Off-Tariff Pricing, while also building out Revenue Integrity capability, including Agency Debit Memo (ADM) recovery, fare and ticket audit processes, and emerging fraud and distribution abuse detection, growing the team as the function scales.

The Manager works closely with Pricing, Distribution, and Sales to identify and close revenue leakage.

• Own fare rules, tariff maintenance, and specialty/off-tariff pricing, ensuring accuracy and alignment with commercial strategy.
• Own day-to-day fare and ticket audit processes, identifying rule violations, misuse, and fraudulent booking behavior.
• Drive Agency Debit Memo (ADM) identification, dispute, and recovery processes.
• Set up and maintain business rules for ticketing time limits and related inventory-holding controls.
• Monitor and investigate agency-side abuse, including unauthorized fare redistribution, undercutting, and married segment manipulation.
• Partner with Sales and Network teams to enforce contract terms and negotiated fare eligibility.
• Build detection approach for consumer-driven abuse, including skip-lagging/hidden city ticketing and transatlantic fuel surcharge (YQ/YR) manipulation.
• Identify and help close gaps in current tools and data access, particularly where detection capability doesn't yet exist.
• Partner with IT, Distribution, and Revenue Management systems teams to build scalable detection and reporting capability.
• Develop reporting that quantifies recovered and protected revenue and communicates impact to senior leadership.
• Manage, mentor, and guide a team of Analysts spanning Fare Rules & Tariffs, Specialty/Off-Tariff Pricing, and Revenue Integrity, growing the team as the function scales.
• Lead the development of newly hired crew members and deliver regular recurrent training.
• Stay current on industry-wide fraud and distribution trends, proactively identifying new leakage vectors.
• Take a significant role in the development of crew members to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement.
• Engage in other ad-hoc projects and analysis as appropriate.

Minimum

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research or a related field OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
• Five (5) years of revenue management, pricing, or fare audit experience
• Strong analytical and investigative skills; comfort working with ambiguous, incomplete data to identify patterns
• Working knowledge of fare construction, ticketing rules, and GDS/reservation systems
• Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
• Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred

Experience and Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of direct management and/or leadership experience
• Experience with fare audit tools (e.g., Accelya or similar)
• SQL or other data querying experience
• Knowledge of airline industry trends, distribution channels, and fraud/abuse patterns
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice
• Able to maintain a professional appearance
• When working or traveling on Jet Blue flights, and if time permits, all capable crew members are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
